November’s Near-Death Experience Meeting hosted by IANDS (2019)
November 11 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
From an early age, Alex Fernandez-Crenshaw has been deeply involved in finding the truth. He was 28 when he quit his job as a corporate accountant and began semi-monastic training at the Rochester Zen Center in upstate New York. During that time, he studied several esoteric traditions, including the teachings of resurrection from the Taoist tradition and the teachings of internal alchemy.
At the age of 35, he left the Zen center and went back to the corporate world in Charlotte, North Carolina. Meanwhile, he continued to pursue his spiritual practice.
After 6 years, he decided to move to California to begin a deep exploration of the human subconscious. He explored the enneagram, human design system, gene keys, sound healing, and sacred geometry.
But his interest in resurrections has been his passion, and he has continued exploring it through the esoteric teachings of Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Egyptian mystery schools, the lost teachings of resurrection, and through the death experiences he’s heard others share.
In his spare time, when he’s not exploring his passion, he is in service to others and to deepen his own understanding of human suffering. Alex has worked with homeless children and currently teaches Buddhism and meditation at Folsom State Prison.
Alex will share the experiences he’s had along the path that his spiritual practice has taken him. And he’ll also share the importance of having a deep understanding of the dying process…and what that understanding has for our personal evolution.
This is going to be fantastic discussion that you won’t want to miss!
